1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website at ll.generativesolutions.ai and the provision of scaffolding services by L&L Scaffolding Ltd ("the Company", "we", "us"), a company operating from Southampton, Hampshire, England.

By submitting a quote request through our website or engaging us to carry out scaffolding works, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under English law.

2. Our Services

L&L Scaffolding Ltd provides professional scaffolding erection, adaptation and dismantling services including, but not limited to:

• Residential scaffolding (houses, extensions, roofwork)
• Commercial and industrial scaffolding
• New build scaffolding packages
• Maintenance and ongoing access scaffolding
• Emergency scaffolding deployment

All work is carried out by CISRS-qualified scaffolders in accordance with TG20 guidance and applicable health and safety legislation.

3. Quotations

All quotations provided by L&L Scaffolding Ltd are:

• Free of charge and provided without obligation
• Valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
• Based on the information provided at the time of enquiry — changes to the scope of work may result in a revised quotation
• Exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise

A quotation does not constitute a binding contract until it has been accepted in writing (or by confirmed telephone agreement) and we have confirmed our ability to carry out the work.

4. Placing an Order

A contract between the Customer and L&L Scaffolding Ltd is formed when:

• The Customer accepts our written quotation (by email, text, phone or in person); and
• We confirm the booking in writing or verbally.

We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, for example due to unavailability, access restrictions or site safety concerns.

5. Access and Site Requirements

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that:

• Adequate and safe access to the site is available on the agreed date
• Any necessary permissions, including from neighbours or the local highway authority for scaffolding over a public footpath, have been obtained prior to erection
• The site is reasonably clear and safe for our operatives to work
• Any underground services, structures or hazards that may affect the erection of scaffolding are disclosed to us in advance

If access is not available on the agreed date and we are not given reasonable notice, we reserve the right to charge an abortive visit fee.

6. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date
• Payment can be made by bank transfer (BACS), cash or cheque
• For larger projects, we may require a deposit of up to 50% prior to commencement of works
• Late payment may incur interest at the rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998

Ownership of any scaffolding equipment remains with L&L Scaffolding Ltd at all times until final payment has been received in full.

7. Hire Period and Dismantling

Where scaffolding is hired for a fixed period:

• The agreed hire period begins on the date of erection
• If the scaffolding is required beyond the agreed period, the Customer must notify us and additional hire charges may apply
• The Customer must not alter, move, add to, or remove any part of the scaffolding structure without our express written consent
• The Customer is responsible for the scaffolding during the hire period and must ensure it is not misused or interfered with by third parties

8. Cancellation

Cancellation by the Customer:

• Cancellation with more than 48 hours notice — no charge
• Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice — we reserve the right to charge up to 50% of the agreed quotation value
• Cancellation on the day of works, or once operatives have arrived on site — we reserve the right to charge the full quoted amount

Cancellation by L&L Scaffolding Ltd: We will endeavour to give reasonable notice if we are unable to carry out work on the agreed date. In such cases, no charge will be made and we will offer the earliest available alternative date.

9. Insurance

L&L Scaffolding Ltd holds comprehensive Public Liability Insurance covering our operations. Details of our insurance cover are available on request.

The Customer is advised to ensure their own property insurance remains in force during scaffolding works.

10. Health & Safety

All works are carried out in accordance with:

• The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974
• The Work at Height Regulations 2005
• The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015)
• NASC (National Access and Scaffolding Confederation) guidance
• TG20:21 guidance for tube and fitting scaffolding

The Customer must not use the scaffolding for any purpose other than that for which it was designed and erected.

11. Liability

L&L Scaffolding Ltd's liability to the Customer shall be limited to direct loss or damage arising from our proven negligence. We shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, consequential or economic loss
• Loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity
• Any damage caused by the Customer's failure to disclose relevant site information
• Damage resulting from the scaffolding being modified, misused or overloaded by the Customer or third parties
• Delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (force majeure)

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos and design — is the property of L&L Scaffolding Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written consent.

13. Website Use

This website is provided for informational purposes only. While we take care to ensure information is accurate and up to date, we make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose of the content. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw the website at any time without notice.

14. Third-Party Links
